A versatile personality, who has travelled into almost all the lanes of life. He went to a school with children from very poor families. Started working at a small salary of Rs. 75 per month (US$ 10). Worked for others for 13 years and then in 1986 started of his own, without having a single penny in hand. He went through a very bad patch for 3 years with professional failures and all sorts of family disturbances. Situation was so bad that he was unable to buy even milk for his three infant children. But in 1990 he was able to change the circumstances after reading and following “Law Of Success” by Napolean Hill. He was inspired and fully charged to create a big future for him. He set his goal to become the richest person in India within a period of 12 years. Things were moving very favourably, he started his business in Sri Lanka, India, Myanmar, Singapore and Bangladesh. He acquired properties all over and the way things were moving he would have achieved his goal.
But then in 1994 his spiritual being was awakened and he realised that he has not come to this world to make money. His quest for name, fame, power, position, possession and lust had vanished. A new less travelled path emerged, a path which leads to true fulfilment of life not with physical stuffs! but with peace, love, happiness, purity, power and knowledge.
After this awakening his priorities changed, his goal shifted 180°; values changed, quantity’ lost meaning and quality became meaningful! Till this time He has been a very hot tempered person, an alcoholic and chain smoker. In a single stroke he gave up smoking, drinking and became pure vegetarian.
Gradually he started scaling down his business operations everywhere. Spiritual enlightenment had changed his heart and total outlook. He enjoyed spending more time in meditation and with nature. He has his house at Kolkata’s best address South City Residency and also another house at Colombo’s best location. But he lives at Green Mall, a green wonderland spread on 10 acres of land in a village called Samukpota. He spends most of his time in inspiring people to live in harmony with nature by being a live example.
