Green Mall is set up with an idea to make gardening simple and easy to all

At Green Mall, with our small might, we do exert our best our best efforts with a mission “Let’s make India Green” and keep on inspiring and motivating people to go green and to live in harmony with nature.

We all have been realising now Global Warming and rampant climatic change have been emerged as the greatest challenge to be faced from now on by human race.

Environmentalist, scientist and Horticulturist make their best efforts to combat effectively with such situations but we are too far to achieve the goal.

Spread over an area of 10 acre lush green at a village Samukpota in South 24 Parganas of West Bengal, barely 9 Kms away from Kolkata is providing enormous motivation and continuous inspiration to the countrymen to go more green in most decent and systematic manner to attain the goal.

The campus is virtually a small botanical garden with over 250 species of palms , 50 species of cycads and many rare varieties of agave, shrubs, creepers indoor, outdoor and hanging plants.

There are six Shade Houses from 2000 sq.ft. to 3600 sq.ft. each having different heights and providing different ambience for hardening of seedlings. These shade houses are also used for shade loving plants.

There is a Potting Mix making plant where soil, coco-peat, cow dung etc. are dehydrated and compounded thereafter with nutrients.

Thus a very fertile media is prepared for healthy growth of all plants and seedlings. A Super Market like show room within the campus is built up with ready stock of all items that are required by nurserymen, horticulturists, landscapers and gardeners, like planters, pots, nursery tools, irrigation equipment, polythene sheets, agro shade nets UV stablised HDPE films and Coco Peat fromShri Lanka.

Entire campus has a serene, peaceful pure and the highly positively changed atmosphere wherever visits the place goes with a lingering green and positive experiences,. 83% of the visitors opined that they would possibly come again at least once a month and 17% informed that they would like to come once every three months. None has said so far that they would not revisit Green Mall.

Green Mall has a BrahmakumariesRajayoga Meditation Retreat where daily classes are conducted. Thousands of persons have taken benefits from this retreat.

Stress or tense is a very common phenomenon faced by individuals and meditation is the best possible effective means by which one can lead a life with happiness, peace, bliss, love, purity knowledge.

Green Mall now has in its lap a “Prakriti art Gallery” exhibiting marvellous work of art by MehtabMolla, it’s just amazing!

“Green Tunes” a music academy has also been established under Sri Siddharta Chowdury, celebrity in “Prakriti Giti”

Last but not least in importance of mentioning its “Garden Restaurant” a pure veg restaurant serving delicious South Indian, North India, Sri Lankan and Chinese dishes
